After all this rain that Cincinnati has had it's nice to finally get some sunshine! My parents and I are currently in the process of fixing up my studio apartment that I am living in for the upcoming school year, and let me tell you, it needs a lot of TLC! My dad has even been so sweet and used a week of vacation time to help fix it up. I feel guilty about it, but my parents love doing projects like this. They don't mind putting time into a fixer upper, but mainly they just enjoy spending time together. We have all the walls painted and some of the trim finished. But there is still a ton of work to be done. Yesterday I went to Home Depot with my mom and took a ridiculous amount of paint chips to make a cool back splash for my kitchen. I may have to go back for more to make sure I got all the colors I need. I plan on posting before and after pictures here soon, so stay tuned!
Also, I am now selling canvases that have your favorite Bible verse, quote, or I could paint something with your favorite sports team. I also have big sheets of very nice, thick drawing paper that I mix water together with fabric dye and paint with it. I use fabric dye because it gives a brighter color than water color does. The one below is 18" x 24". The smaller ones are 9" x 12". The canvases are 16" x 20". I am selling them now for $20.00 a piece. The smaller paintings are $10.00.
